The Liliʻuokalani Center is a modern mixed-use civic facility located in the heart of Honolulu. Bucher Glass was contracted to design and install the building's glazing system, executing the full scope of curtain wall and glass installation across the building's facade. The project presented a unique technical challenge — the building's cantilevered overhangs required the use of a Bella Beam, a specialized glazing installation system that allows panels to be precisely positioned in areas inaccessible to conventional equipment. The result is a clean, high-performance glass envelope that defines the architectural character of one of Honolulu's newest civic landmarks.
